Help Make It The Best Christmas For All The Quad Cities Children

It's time to start thinking about Christmas.  Yes.  Already.  Maybe not for your family.  But, for children in need, the Quad Cities is thinking about them now so that by the time Christmas comes every child in our city can experience the joy of the holiday season.

Toys for Tots is preparing to accept applications for families in need and volunteers who can help with the program.

Toys For Tots 76th Year

This is the 76^th year of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, and they can’t wait to make it their best yet!

Last year Toys for Tots supported over 6,600 children with more than 29,000 toys across 6 counties in Iowa and Illinois.  This year's goal is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens.

For over seven decades, the program has evolved and grown exponentially having delivered hope and the magic of Christmas to over 291 million children in need.

Toy Application Information:

Sunday, Oct 1^st: Online Toy Application opens.
Monday, Oct 30^th: In-person Verification begins.
Friday, Nov 24^th: Online Toy Application closes.
Sunday, Dec 3rd: In-person Verification ends.

• Eligibility: 6 months-12 years old
• AFTER SUBMITTING AN ONLINE APPLICATION, YOU MUST VERIFY IN PERSON YOUR ID AND CHILDREN’S BIRTH CERTIFICATES.

Donation Information:

Monday, Oct 16^th: Toy drop boxes are distributed
Wednesday, Dec 6^th: Final toy collection
