The Center for Active Seniors is asking for help with its Senior Secret Santa program.

According to a QC Times article, many older adults spend the holidays alone in their homes with few friends or little family support. Many seniors report not leaving their homes and not receiving visitors or gifts during the holiday season.

CASI reps say the gift lists are simple and include personal hygiene items, pajamas, slippers and books.

To become part of the CASI Senior Secret Santa program, visit tinyurl.com/casisanta or go to CASI and drop off a donation.

Funds raised through the program will be used to purchase gifts and services for seniors during the holidays and throughout the year.

Participants also can pick a tag off the tree in the CASI lobby, purchase a gift and return the gift to CASI by Friday.

For more information, you can contact CASI at 563-386-7477.
