For the first time ever I went to a LEGO event. Brickworld is the perfect thing for those young and old, so we got the family ready and headed to Chicago. It's one of the largest LEGO events in the US which means this place was packed, but man it was crazy to see what people can build with these toys.

The event was held at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center about 30 minutes away from Chicago and offered so much for how little it cost.

This year Brickworld Chicago took place between June 15th and June 19th. For the public, it was open on Saturday and Sunday and is again an amazing event for the family. The admission only cost $14 and there were some great things to look at.

For those who aren't familiar with the event, you can learn more here.

Enjoy interactive activities, such as the LEGO and DUPLO play brick areas, seek and finds, fighting robots, etc. Buy your favorite LEGO sets, minifigures, and LEGO accessories from various vendors.

It is also Brickworld's largest event. Here were some awesome highlights!

More On Brickworld

The best part to me is how everyone and anyone is welcome to come, and being a vendor is easy too! the website states,

Brickworld events are fun for the entire family. We provide a fan and family friendly environment at all of our expositions.

You can even learn more about getting in early.

While our expositions are open to the public on the weekend, the convention runs Wednesday evening through Sunday night with plenty of activities going on at nearly all hours of the day and night. The convention is geared toward adults. But, we welcome younger fans at the convention accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you at one of our shows!

This Toy Is Worth Thousands

If you still have parts to this toy, you could make some serious $$$$. Countless parts of this game are worth a pretty penny alone.

Here is a look at different parts you may have for the game "Hero Scape"
If you have any of these you could be making some serious cash, so keep an eye out.
