Both Illinois senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth have been confirmed safe during the protests that took place today on the Capitol.
On Wednesday, protestors that are largely President Trump supporters stormed the Capitol Building during a joint congressional meeting to count and solidify the electoral college votes from the November election.
