Job Fair Held Today For QC Military In Transition

Some QC unemployment offices and large companies in the area are holding a job fair specifically targeted to military vets today.

The Quad Cities Success Job Fair is being held today, Aug. 14th from 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Rogalski Center at St. Ambrose University in Davenport. It is open to the public, but staff from the Iowa WORKS program and the Illinois Department of Employment Security will be on hand to help military veterans with the transition into civilian workforce.

Deere & Company, Arconic, the Rock Island Arsenal are set to be there along with other Quad City employers. Attendees should bring resumes and prepare to be interviewed.
