The NBA bubble is about to burst with excitement!

Not really.  It is not going to burst.  In fact, the bubble experiment in the NBA has proven to be quite effective-- if you forget about that Lou Williams thing.

The NBA Playoffs are set except for who will play in to face off against the Lakers in the Western Conference.  Here is the seeds that we know so far:

Today the Trail Blazers, Grizzlies, Suns, and Spurs are vying to make Saturday's play-in game(s), in which the No. 8 seed has to win one game to advance to the playoffs, while the No. 9 seed has to win twice.

Here is a list of the games scheduled to play today:

• Grizzlies vs. Bucks 3:00 CST
• Suns vs. Mavericks 3:00 CST-- on TNT
• Spurs vs. Jazz 5:30 CST-- on TNT
• Trail Blazers vs. Nets 9:00 CST-- on TNT

Memphis came into the bubble with strong hold on the 8 seed but poor play and multiple losses might keep them out of the playoffs all together.

Here is how each team could make the playoffs are get eliminated:

Trail Blazers (34-39)

• Clinch No. 8 if they win or the Grizzlies, Suns and Spurs all lose
• Clinch No. 9 if they lose and two of the Grizzlies, Suns and Spurs lose
• Eliminated if they lose and two of the Grizzlies, Suns and Spurs win

Grizzlies (33-39)

• Clinch No. 8 if they win and the Blazers lose
• Clinch No. 9 if they win and the Blazers win or the Grizzlies, Suns and Spurs all lose
• Eliminated if they lose and the Suns or Spurs win

Suns (33-39)

• Clinch No. 8 if they win and the Blazers and Grizzlies lose
• Clinch No. 9 if they win and the Blazers or Grizzlies lose
• Eliminated if they lose

Spurs (32-38)

• Clinch No. 8 if they win and the Blazers and Grizzlies both lose
