The restaurant business is hard.  60% of new restaurants fail within the first 3 years and 80% in the first 5 years.  The restaurant business is hard.

So when a new restaurant opens in a location that has been many other restaurants over the last 5 years it's easy to get skeptical about how long it will last.  But maybe, this will be the one that sticks in this seemingly cursed location.

Ting's Asian Fusion Restaurant

Ting's Asian Fusion Restaurant is at 2561 53rd Avenue in Bettendorf, Iowa.  You may have seen this location before.  Either in person as it's on a busy road with a lot of visibility.  Or you may have seen it the last time I shared it with you when the former restaurant closed.  This was the former Inferno Pizza location.  And before that, it was another pizza place...and before that...some other restaurant that was forgettable.

Now, after being vacant for 4 months, the building has a new tenant ready to win over the hungry with a full menu that you can see below.

Welcome To Ting's Asian Fusion

One thing going for Ting's compared to the last two pizza places is choice.  There are not a lot of Asian restaurants in the area.  There are plenty of pizza places.  So maybe the uniqueness will help it stay open.

The Unique Choices at Ting's Asian Fusion

The choices I got were not that unique, but to be fair, it's not my typical style of food.  So I played it safe with General Tso's Orange Chicken and Szechuan Style Pork.  Both were very tasty!

If you are more adventurous, here is the full menu:

And it's a big menu.

This was an unexpected one here with the Cajun Seafood Special.  Didn't expect to see that at the Asian Fusion restaurant.

And yes it's kid-friendly with a kids menu of the basics for the littles.

Good luck to Ting's Asian Fusion.  While it's not my typical meal choice it was really good and the dishes were large and well worth the price.  If you are a fan of Asian food check out Ting's and hopefully, this one can make it longer than the 60%-80% of the new restaurants out there.

Perhaps I should have left my fortune cookie for them.
