So we are on the eve of the first pitch of the 2020 MLB baseball season.

We have seen the empty stadiums during the "Summer Camp" games this past week and we have seen some empty stadiums.

Yeah.  It is kind of sad in a weird way.  Weird because we all want the caught foul ball by a 9 year kid-- so someone can say, "Sign him up!!!".

We all want the St. Louis Cardinal hitter's home run at Wrigley (Cardinals play at Wrigley 7 out of 10 games this year) to be thrown back by a bleacher bum.

But baseball is starting soon.  The odd thing is the crowd noise they plan to include into plays...

Well, today on the Quad Cities ONLY LOCAL sports talk radio show, "Don't Hassle Us We're Local", we discussed what would be really cool for audio for people at home...

The audio from the 1988 NES MLBPA licensed R.B.I Baseball.

If you don't remember here is a link and some sound to get your feet tapping to...

And here we are with runners in scoring position, ducks on the pond if you will, and the hitter with 2 strikes on him...

You can't argue about how great that would be.  MLB, make baseball fun-- at least for one game and use all the sound effects of R.B.I. Baseball for one game.  People would lose their minds how funny it would be.

Listen to Jimmy, Jay, and Leah talk about this on today's show.

Look at how excited us two idiots got about piping in that organ music.

Maybe we are on to something? Maybe we are not?

Anyway, it's time to get a little excited...

BASEBALL IS BACK!
