Veterans laid everything on the line for us in their service, and many don't come home. That's why we should treasure the ones who do, and show up for them when it's needed.

Thursday, April 20th, 2023, United States Marines PFC David Craig Yoder will be laid to rest at the Rock Island Arsenal.

According to the Rock Island Arsenal, PFC Yoder has no family or friends that are able to attend his burial, so they're calling upon the community to show out for a soldier who showed up when we needed him to.

David Yoder served with the United States Marines from 1976-1979 and passed away at the age of 63 years old.

The burial ceremony will take place at 2pm in a committal shelter on the island.

Contact the Rock Island Arsenal Visitors Office to get a visitor's pass before you attend the funeral.
