Every year many come together to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Many do so with incredible food, parties, and special events. The holiday celebrates the date of the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.

The Quad Cities has some great spots when it comes to trying and experiencing new foods. For many, they have a go-to spot every year.

Today I figured it would be a great time to look at some great restaurants you could check out for Cinco de Mayo

La Finca

With a few locations in the QCA,  Rudy's business has grown to include 12 other locations in both Iowa and Illinois since the 70s.

Found in Davenport Iowa. They have 24 craft beers on tap, and
Frozen sangrias. Get ready for elevated chef-driven tacos, and fun times!

 

El Mexicano

Catch this spot in Moline! Considered a Mexican grocery store and carry-out restaurant. While there has not been a lot of activity on Facebook, you can learn more here.

 

Abarrotes Carrillo

While this spot is temporarily closed, it is a perfect one to keep in mind! You can find Abarrotes, Taqueria, & Carnicerí here. It is considered a grocery store, Restaurant, and Meat shop.

Las Margaritas

Located on W Kimberly Road in Davenport. Great food, and great drinks!

What To Expect For Quad Cities Play Station 2022

The Play Station is a newer attraction in the Quad Cities, but families have already fallen in love with the roughly year-old amusement park! Owner Nick Edwards was excited to share what the future of the QC Play Station.

"We have lots of exciting things in the pipeline for our Quad Cities Location. The entire facility is currently getting an entire makeover which began earlier this year."
