Front Street Brewery’s Pub & Eatery Reopens after Lengthy Flood Recovery and Reconstruction
You've grown to love the guys from Front Street on the air for our show "Don't Hassle Us We're Local" and grown to love their beer. Get ready to taste the awesome food from Front Street at the Grand Reopening.
After being closed for over seven months as a result of the devastating flood wall breach in downtown Davenport last spring, Iowa’s Original Brewpub is back and better than ever! Front Street Pub & Eatery will celebrate its Grand Reopening on Wednesday December 4th from 11am until 10pm.
Since 1992 Front Street has been serving up some of the Quad Cities favorite craft beer and pub fare along the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. The one hundred plus year old building at 208 E. River Dr. was engulfed by flood waters during the Great Flood of 1993, but was restored and continued serving the Quad Cities for the last 27 years. When history repeated itself in last spring’s record flooding, Front Street once again showed its resiliency and dedication to downtown Davenport, by beginning the cleanup and rebuilding process almost immediately. Now, over seven months later, Front Street Pub & Eatery is back and better than ever!
All are welcome to join the festivities at Front Street Pub & Eatery on Wednesday, December 4th, from 11am-10pm. There will be free pours of Raging River IPA, the beer born from the Flood of 93’, while the keg lasts, as well as complimentary cake & cup cakes, and specially priced menu features all day. Stop in and check out the newly remodeled space, and enjoy a freshly brewed beer and your favorite Front Street dish.
