The NBA announced Wednesday (March 11th) they have suspended the remainder of the season until further notice after Rudy Gobert preliminarily tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to ESPN, the NBA announced that it has suspended its season until further notice. This came after the completion of Wednesday night's games when Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert preliminarily tested positive for the coronavirus.

Gobert has been under fire, and will certainly continue to be, after he recently touched all of the microphones with his hands following an interview.

The NBA issued a statement saying they "will use this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic."

There is no word on the when the NBA will resume its season.
